Deshhit: `Modified` ban on plastic in place from Saturday in Maharashtra

The state will impose a plastic ban from June 23, but temporary relief will be offered to stakeholders. Environment minister Ramdas Kadam convened a meeting with stakeholders and BMC on Thursday to discuss preparation for the ban.
