The Amar Jawan Jyoti burning at India Gate was merged with the flame burning at the National War Memorial today. Rahul Gandhi opposed this decision and said that "some people cannot understand patriotism and sacrifice - no problem...we will burn the Amar Jawan Jyoti once again for our soldiers".
