Cremona birthplace of the violin open strings centre of excellence

The Italian town of Cremona known as the birthplace of the violin is a magnet for musicians everywhere. Now it is home to a new centre of excellence where students can study with master violinists. The Stauffer Centre is entirely dedicated to stringed instruments, and will encourage research and study into the production of violins as well as the music.
