An amount of Rs 11.43 crores has been provided as ex-gratia relief to 1635 militancy affected families in Anantnag district of South Kashmir during the last four years, an official spokesman said in Srinagar.
He said that Rs 7.75 crores have been provided to next of the kin of those killed in militancy related incidents and Rs 3.22 crores to those whose property was damaged.
Nearly Rs 24.30 lakhs have been provided as financial assistance to 1322 beneficiaries of Doru Tehsil in the district under integrated social security scheme in the last 17 months, he said on Thursday.
