Meanwhile, reacting to the escalating conflict, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres taking to X said. "I condemn the broadening of the Middle East conflict with escalation after escalation. This must stop. We absolutely need a ceasefire."
Throughout the country, sirens have been sounding, and the IDF has advised Israelis to stay alert and closely follow home front command instructions. Reports indicate that Israel's gas platforms in the Mediterranean Sea may have been damaged during the missile attack.
