In a new documentary by director Oliver Stone he is quoted as saying, "'I am not a woman, so I don't have bad days."

The Russian President adds, "I am not trying to insult anyone. That's just the nature of things. There are certain natural cycles."

He also tells Stone that he is a 'judo master' in peak physical shape.

The film director is making a four-part documentary 'The Putin Chronicles'.

The footage of the interview was provided to Bloomberg by Stone.

The Russian President’s comments came in series of interviews with Stone on topics ranging from geopolitics to gay rights and Edward Snowden.

He is also shown driving Stone around Moscow and talking about his daily weightlifting regime. 

The interviews will be released in four hour-long episodes, beginning next week, on the US cable channel Showtime.
