Frankfurt: Several people were reported to be injured on Monday after gas was released at Germany's Frankfurt airport.
Fire services were called and the check-in counters were closed for sometime.
However, airport operators later said that no 'harmful substance' were found in the departures halls.
After that, check-in was reopened and flights started operating as normal.
Frankfurt Airport’s official Twitter account tweeted the following regarding the incident:
Fire department operation completed. No more measured values of tear gas can be detected & the affected area is accessible again.
