Caught on camera: Man escapes fire, ends up hanging off balcony

BEIJING: A man in China managed to escape death by hanging himself off the balcony of a building which was on fire.

The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon in China's Chongqing city.

A video posted on Youtube on Friday shows the man dangling outside from one of the balconies of a 23-storey residential building.

The video captures the man climbing down the high-rise and trying to kick and break the window glass of the apartment below.

As per reports, firefighters soon arrived the spot to his rescue. He was finally pulled inside and saved.
