"Recently, these murderers and slaves are named as Khawarij in the media, but I must say that they are worse than Khawarij," said Habiburrahman at a gathering commemorating the death of those killed in the Taliban attack on MP Mir Wali`s house last week.

The participants, who included senior government officials and MPs, expressing anger over the attack said the militant group has sold out to Russians while they claim to be Mujahids.

Hafizullah Barikzai, son of Uruzgan lawmaker Obaidullah Barikzai, was also killed in the suicide raid by the Taliban.

"I call on Taliban to stop their subversive activities and it is enough. Neither China nor Russians will bring you peace," said Obaidullah.

Meanwhile, former president Hamid Karzai also delivered a speech via a phone call where he strongly condemned the attack on the MP`s house.
A message from Gulbuddin was also read out by his son where he anticipated bigger price for those targeting civilians.

The attack on the MP`s house left at least eight people dead and wounded several others. Taliban claimed responsibility for the raid.
