2023 BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine launched in India with EXTRA legroom, priced at Rs 57.90 lakh

BMW India has now launched the long-wheelbase version of its executive saloon - BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine, at a starting price of Rs 57.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 2023 BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine is launched in the country, and it comes to India via the CKD route and will be locally assembled at the company’s production unit in Chennai. The Gran Limousine goes on sale in both petrol and diesel variants, as was the case with the outgoing model. The 2023 BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine remains the longest car in its segment with an increment of 110 millimetres in the wheelbase, in comparison to the regular model. Resultantly, it now tapes in at 4,823 mm. Only two variants of the BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine are made available - BMW 330Li M Sport and BMW 320Ld M Sport, priced at Rs 57.90 lakh and Rs 59.50 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.

The major difference in terms of the exterior is the increased length, which now totals at 4,823 mm and comes courtesy of the 110 mm increment in the wheelbase. The overall design for the larger part remains similar to the regular wheelbase 3 Series. The chrome-double bars on the BMW Kidney Grille highlight the bold sporty appearance of the new BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine. The standard full-LED headlights are now much slimmer, with clear contours and daytime driving lights arranged in an inverted L shape to create a harmonious and modern look. The outer daytime driving light elements also serve as turn indicators.

2023 BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine Specs

The 2.0L four-cylinder petrol engine of the BMW 330Li produces an output of 258 hp and maximum torque of 400 Nm at 1,550-4,400 rpm. The car accelerates from 0 -100 km / hr in just 6.2 seconds. The 2.0L four-cylinder diesel engine of the BMW 320Ld produces an output of 190 hp and a maximum torque of 400 Nm at 1,750 – 2,500 rpm. The car accelerates from 0 -100 km / hr in just 7.6 seconds. The 8-speed automatic transmission remains standard across the engine options. The - ECO PRO, Comfort, Sport.

With the increased legroom on the inside, the interior comes equipped with a curved display the operates on BMW Operating System 8, and it houses a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch Control Display. Furthermore, the BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine gets BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, integrated smartphone holder, wireless phone charger, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, 16-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system and more. Safety kit includes six airbags, Attentiveness Assistance, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Cornering Brake Control (CBC), electric parking brake with auto hold, side-impact protection, electronic vehicle immobilizer, and ISOFIX child seat mounting.
