Two Babbar Khalsa terrorists arrested in Uttar Pradesh
Two Babbar Khalsa terrorists were arrested from Lakhimpur in a joint operation between Uttar Pradesh and Punjab Police on Tuesday.
Lucknow: Two Babbar Khalsa terrorists were arrested from Lakhimpur in a joint operation between Uttar Pradesh and Punjab Police on Tuesday.
Earlier in August 2017, a suspected operative of the banned terror outfit was nabbed by the UP Anti-Terrorist Squad in Unnao district.
The terrorist was identified as Jaswant Singh alias Kala.
Jaswant was wanted by Rajasthan and Punjab police in connection with various cases, including murder. Balwant was arrested on a tip off provided by the Punjab Police.
The Centre has banned pro-Khalistan terrorist outfits BKI, International Sikh Youth Federation, Khalistan Commando Force and Khalistan Zindabad Force under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Amendment Act, 2004.
