The European Union granted $ 4 million in humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran on Friday, to help people worst affected by drought. The money will be funneled through the EU's humanitarian aid office, which will distribute the funds to non-governmental organisations to run projects over the next six months in coordination with the world food programme.
Afghanistan will get 3.5 million dollars, Pakistan 1.21 million dollars and Iran 360,000 dollars.
