Four persons, allegedly practicing witchcraft, were burnt to death by residents of Thimmapur village in Sangam Mandal of Andhra Pradesh's Warangal district on Wednesday night, police said in Waranga on Thursday. “The villagers caught five persons indulging in 'witchcraft' and tied them to trees at the village centre. They were set on fire after pouring kerosene and petrol over them,” police said. “Four of the victims died on the spot due to severe burns while the fifth one survived and was battling for life in MGM hospital in Warangal,” hospital sources said.
