A R Rahman announces cast of 99 Songs, his first film as a story writer; featuring Manisha Koirala, Lisa Ray and Rahul Ram
Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman on Wednesday shared a video on his Facebook wall, revealing the casting of his upcoming film.
NEW DELHI: Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman on Wednesday shared a video on his Facebook wall, revealing the casting of his upcoming film, the story of which is penned down by him.
The film 99 Songs is directed by Viswesh Krishnamoorthy. Manisha Koirala and Rahul Ram are among the top casts.
Other casting includes Ehan Bhat, Edilsy Varghese, Tenzin Dalha, Lisa Ray and Ranjit Barot.
Earlier in the day, Rahman took to Twitter and hinted his followers about the revelation.
"Revealing Finally....Do check out my Facebook page tonight at 9.09 PM IST," he tweeted.
Sharp at 9.09 pm the eminent composer tweeted about the release of this latest video of 99 songs.
On January 16, Rahman had released the first poster of the film.
