Mumbai: Subhash Kapoor’s Jolly.LLB starring Arshad Warsi garnered rave reviews from critics and appreciation from the audience. The second instalment of the franchise starred Akshay Kumar as the adorable Jolly. And according to the latest buzz, Jolly LLB 3 is on the anvil.

According to a report in DNA, the third instalment of the super-hit franchise may star both Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar.


Speculations are rife that Arshad and Akshay may be pitted against each other as advocates in the film.


Both the editions of the court room drama have revolved around grave issues. The first instalment dealt with a hit-and-run case involving a man from an influential family while the second one depicted Jolly’s ordeals while trying to prove a man named Iqbal Qasim who gets killed in a fake encounter, innocent.


The first instalment starred Amrita Rao as the female lead while the second one had Huma Qureshi.


We are sure fans will be happy to look forward to the third instalment but filmmaker Kapoor is in no hurry.


“It’s too early to talk about it. I haven’t even thought about the script yet, but yes, I will make Jolly LLB 3. Right now, I’m busy with Moghul (a biopic on the late music baron Gulshan Kumar). Once I complete that, there’s A possibility of me doing another film before I start Jolly LLB 3,” DNA quited Kapoor as saying.


Jolly LLB had Boman Irani and Harsh Chhaya besides Saurabh Shukla on board and the second instalment featured Annu Kapoor, Sayani Gupta and Manav Kaul. Saurabh Shukla, who played Justice Sunderlal Tripathi was a part of Jolly LL B 2 too.
