New Delhi: There were very few films in 2017 that actually entered their third week at the Box office and Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan's latest release Judwaa 2 is among those lucky few. The David Dhawan directorial, interestingly, performed exceptionally well during its third weekend.

It is being said that, in the last three days, the flick minted more than Rs 7 crore. The total collection of Judwaa 2 has now surpassed Rs 133 crore mark. Noted movie critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh on Monday took to Twitter to confirm the same.


It is now likely to emerge as the highest grossing Hindi film of 2017 after Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.



Judwaa 2 is remake of 1997 blockbuster by the same name Judwaa which featured Salman Khan in the lead. Interestingly, in the sequel, Varun is seen in a double role of Prem and Raja respectively.


While the original had Karisma Kapoor and South star Rambha as female leads, in the sequel there's Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu.
