Apart from the Hindi version of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion starring Prabhas, no other star’s film has succeeded in raking in the moolah. Surprisingly, small budget films like Bareilly Ki Barfi and Shubh Mangal Savdhan fared better at the BO. Even Akshay Kumar’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha left an indelible mark.

And now Varun Dhawan’s Judwaa 2, remake of Salman starrer 1997 blockbuster Judwaa has been able to draw audiences to the theatres. The film has minted over Rs 125 crore so far and may continue to do brisk business until Diwali, when Ajay Devgn’s Golmaal Again is slated to hit the silver screen.

Noted trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the latest BO collections figures. He tweeted:

“#Judwaa2 had a STRONG Week 2, despite pre-Diwali period affecting its biz on weekdays... No major film till Diwali will help the total... (sic).”

“Question is, will #Judwaa2 emerge the highest grosser of 2017, after #Baahubali2? The coming days will provide the answer... Hindi films...(sic).”

“#Judwaa2...
