Kantara Star Rishab Shetty Takes Stand Against Piracy, Backs Government Initiative
Rishab Shetty is currently working on the next part of his global blockbuster `Kantara` which is going to be a prequel.
New Delhi: Rishab Shetty proved the mettle of his acting, directing, and writing prowess with 'Kantara'. Released in 2022, the film ruled over the hearts of the masses like madness and took the name of the nation on the global stage.
The film indeed introduced the world to a fresh storyteller, none other than, 'Rishab'. While the actor, today is a renowned face personality, he also is a person who knows his responsibilities as a part of the entertainment industry and the evidence of the same has been witnessed as Rishab raises his voice to stop piracy and lend his support to the government for the same.
Rishab Shetty took to his social media and shared a press release issued by the Ministry of Information and broadcast. With this, Rishab wrote the cation, "Major action to curb film piracy as the industry faces losses of Rs. 20,000 crore annually due to piracy. CBFC and @MIB_India officers authorised to direct blocking/take down of any website/App/link carrying pirated filmic content."
