New Delhi: Friday turned out to be a bit disappointing for Bollywood diva Sonakshi Sinha. Yes, you guessed it right! Here, we are talking about her latest release 'Noor'. The film reportedly managed to mint Rs 1.54 crore on its day one.

“#Noor has a dull start... Fri ₹ 1.54 cr [1450 screens]. India biz... Needs a major jump over the weekend to leave a mark,” Hindi movie critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted. 



Directed by Sunhil Sippy, 'Noor' is based on Saba Imtiaz's novel 'Karachi, You're Killing Me!'. The film also stars Kanan Gill, Shibani Dandekar and Purab Kohli.


The flick was released on April 21 this year. Now, it would be really interesting to see how the audience reacts to the movie on the weekend.
