"I'm glad to play an important role in Makhna. I'm part of the climax as I'll be seen playing the role of Saqib Saleem's character's mother. I'm playing a single mother. So I will get to present lots of emotions, and co-incidentally in my TV shows too I play a single parent," Supriya, who has acted in movies like Parineeta and Lage Raho Munna Bhai, said in a statement.

"I had to wrap up the shooting in 2016. I am also done with dubbing. We shot in London. It was fun," she added.

Makhna also stars Taapsee Pannu.
