Sushant Singh Rajput’s ‘Paani’ with Shekhar Kapur won’t be made? Here’s the truth

Mumbai: A lot was being speculated about Shekhar Kapur’s ‘Paani’ which had Sushant Singh Rajput on board. And now, after much delay, the filmmaker has put all rumours to rest. Shekhar took to Twitter Tuesday to announce that ‘Paani’ will not be made.

Going by Sushant's tweet, the 'Kai Po Che!' star and Shekhar apparently met on Monday to probably discuss the film in question and other projects.

Shekhar tweeted:

“Am as devastated as u that Paani did not get made @itsSSR but I've never met an actor that worked so hard in preparing for a part as you did (sic).”

Here’s how SSR responded:
