Mumbai: Sushant Singh Rajput aims to be different and his choices of films have proved it. The hunk of an actor, who began his career with television, took a huge leap into the world of celluloid with Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kai Po Che’! Since then, he has been in internationally acclaimed filmmaker Shekhar Kapur’s wish- list.
Sushant and Shekar belong to the mutual admiration club. Sushy has often expressed regards to the ace filmmaker who believes in making unusual cinema.

Shekhar and Sushant were in talks for the former’s ambitious project titled ‘Paani’ that has been in news for over six years now. However, the project seems to have been shelved.
The 'Elizabeth' helmer expressed regret and tweeted: "Am as devastated as u that Paani did not get made @itsSSR but I've never met an actor that worked so hard in preparing for a part as you did (sic)."

At the moment, Sushant is busy with the promotions and shooting of his upcoming films – ‘Raabta’, ‘Takadum’ and ‘Chandamama Door Ke’.
