Tiger Zinda Hai: Salman Khan packs a punch at the Box Office
Tiger Zinda Hai which happens to be Salman`s third venture with the YRF banner, has went on to become the production house`s highest grosser so far.
Mumbai: No wonder why Salman Khan is the undisputed king of the Bollywood Box Office. The hunk of a superstar, who made a splash on the silverscreen with Tiger Zinda Hai, has been roaring since the film released on December 22 last year.
The film which happens to be Salman’s third venture with the YRF banner, has went on to become the production house’s highest grosser so far. The spy-thriller has surpassed Sultan, Dhoom 3, Ek Tha Tiger and Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
Movie critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the latest Box Office collection figures.
He tweeted:

Salman already had two of his films in the Rs 300 crore club. Bajrangi Bhaijaan helmed by Kabir Khan and Sultan, an Ali Abbas Zafar directorial are the enjoying the status of being members of the Rs 300 crore club. The other two films that are a part of the Rs 300 crore club are Aamir Khan’s PK and Dangal.
A sequel to Kabir Khan’s 2012 Eid blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai has high-octane action sequences worthy of giving you the adrenaline rush. Not just Salman, even Katrina Kaif has pulled off some breathtaking stunts and jaw-dropping action sequences.
The film is a complete entertainer with some amazing songs and breathtaking cinematography. Besides this, Tiger Zinda Hai has a gripping plot and the storyline is fast paced.
2017 wasn’t a great year for Bollywood and hence it was important for TZH to perform well. Salman’s spy-thriller helped Bollywood in bidding goodbye to 2017 with a broad smile! By making a business of Rs 250 crores in 10 days, TZH became the second most successful film of the 2017 after Prabhas’ Baahubali: The Conclusion.
The film is now expected to surpass the lifetime business of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which stands at around Rs 320.34 crores, according to Taran Adarsh.
