New Delhi: Gold prices declined by over Rs 130 on Wednesday.The price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold in India today stood at 46,450 as against its previous close of Rs 46,580. On the other hand, the rate of 10 grams of 22-carat gold was trading at 50,680 as against its previous close of Rs 51,780.

In the international market, Gold inched up on Wednesday, as the dollar weakened slightly, while investors waited for a key decision on interest rates from the U.S. Federal Reserve which could influence the outlook for bullion, amid growing worries over the state of the economy. Spot gold firmed 0.1% to $1,718.97 per ounce, by 0041 GMT, while US gold futures dipped 0.1% to $1,716.70, said a Reuters report.

Gold in the national capital on Tuesday fell by Rs 28 to Rs 51,192 per 10 grams. In the previous trade, the yellow metal finished at Rs 51,220 per 10 grams. Silver also declined by Rs 203 to Rs 55,297 per kg from Rs 55,500 per kg in the previous trade.
