New Delhi, May 03: Delhi Police today claimed to have recovered pirated software, CDs, VCDs and duplicate micro filter worth more than Rs six crore in a series of raids at various places in the city. Acting on a tip off, the Economic Offence Wing (EOW) of the Delhi Police's crime branch raided the premises of Nehru Palace, deputy commissioner of police (economic offence wing), Dinesh Bhatt said.

Pirated software worth Rs six crore was seized from there and one Vikram Singh was arrested in this connection, he said.

In another raid, the EOW recovered 1,000 pirated VCDs and pornographic CDs worth Rs three lakh from a shop at Palika Bazar and arrested one Jitender Kumar alias Rinku, he said.

At least 3,000 duplicate filter of the mico company worth Rs 1.5 lakh were also seized from Kashmiri Gate area in another operation, Bhatt said.
