Ford Mustang to hit Indian roads today

The new muscle car is expected to be priced at around Rs 50 lakh.

New Delhi: Ford Motor will launch its muscle car Mustang in India on Thursday.

The new car is expected to be priced at around Rs 50 lakh.

Globally, Mustang is available with three options -- a 2.3 litre 4-cylinder EcoBoost engine producing 306 bhp, a 3.7 litre V6 pushing 296 bhp and a 5.0 litre V8 dishing out 429 bhp max power.

It is being expected that in India only the coupe version with 2.3 litre EcoBoost engine will be launched. The new Ford Mustang had made its public debut at the Detroit motor show in 2014.
