New Delhi: Detroit auto giant Ford is focusing on making a car with a unicycle rear wheel.

The free wheel would work as a unicycle with an electric motor, seat and foot pegs and would let the user commute without a car. It would specially help an individual commute faster while stuck in traffic.


According to the Mashable.com, Ford has patented the technology but not sure if would ever be produced.


Earlier, the Detroit auto giant had received a permit to begin operating a driverless car on public streets as part of the California Autonomous Vehicle Testing Program.
