New Delhi: Toyota is expected to launch the petrol variant of its recent sensation --the Innova Crysta in India on Monday.


The Innova Crysta petrol version is expected to be powered by a 2.7-litre, 4-cylinder, DOHC petrol engine. It can produce 164bhp and 245Nm of peak torque.


The Innova Crysta is currently offered with 2.4-litre and 2.8-litre diesel engines. While the smaller motor is offered only with a five-speed manual gearbox, the more powerful 2.8 comes exclusively with a six-speed automatic transmission.


The diesel Innova Crysta has recieved overwhelming response since its launch in India by registering over 15,000 bookings already.
