Yamaha recalls 902 bikes in India to rectify defects

Chennai: In the latest, Japanese two wheeler major Yamaha Motor Company has recalled 962 units of YZF-R3 sports bike so as to rectify some defects. The company will replace the defective parts of the bikes free of cost as part of modification campaign.

According to Yamaha, it has determined that a defect relating to clutch pressure plate assembly and oil pump assembly exists in few YZF-R3 motorcycles falling within certain production numbers.

The replacement of the parts will be done by Yamaha`s authorized dealers.
