New Delhi: Home grown handset maker Micromax has launched the Canvas 5, its new flagship smartphone. The phone has been priced at Rs 11,999.


Lets have a look at five features of the smartphone.


Screen and design


The phone features a 5.2 FHD screen with corning gorilla glass and has a screen resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and 423 PPI. With a sturdy and stylish metal body, the Canvas 5 has 4.8mm visual thickness and  metal side frame.


Processor


The Canvas 5 is powered by 1.3GHz Mediatek (MT 6753) Octa-Core Processor clubbed with 3GB DDR3 RAM.


Camera


It houses a 13MP AF rear camera (Flash enabled) with 5P lens & Blue Optical Filter while there is a 5MP front camera. Both the shutters are flash enabled.


Connectivity and storage


Running Android Lollipop 5.1,  the smartphone is 4G LTE and CAT 4 enabled. It has a 16GB memory and expandable upto 64GB.

Battery


It also packs a  2900mAh battery claiming 275 hours of standby time and 10 hours of talk time, the company says.
