New Delhi: Apple Inc is contemplating to bring price parity in its products as the company is set to make its entry in retail stores in India.
As per a report in the Economic Times, Apple might soon bring the offline price of its iPhone at par with online price.
The ET, citing sources said that the move was further necessiated owing to slowing sales of Apple's recently launched iPhone SE in India.
Moreover, huge discounts and offers given by online retailers have further dented offline or retail sales of Apple's product.
There were reports in the media recently that prices of iPhone 6 in India have been increased in India.
The steep hike of 29 percent in the retail prices has been brought by Apple to allegedly cover up the poor response to company's SE device. Reportedly, SE could only be sold in very small volumes.
As per media reports, the company management decided that it maybe due to high price of SE that sale was meek. So, if prices of bigger-sized iPhone 6 and 6S devices are corrected, traction may return.
