Asus ZenFone Max with 5000 mAh battery launched; can be used as power bank too
The device promises 37.6 hours of talktime on 3G, 32.5 hours of Wi-Fi web browsing and 22.6 hours of video playback.

New Delhi: Taiwanese smartphone maker Asus on Monday launched the ZenFone Max (ZC550KL) smartphone in India.
The ZenFone Max, which was unveiled in August last year is available exclusively on e-commerce site Flipkart for pre-order at Rs 9,999. The company has tweeted:
The highlight of the phone is its Jumbo 5000 mAh battery that can also be used as a power bank. Asus says, the phone “has the stamina and smarts to charge other devices! Just connect your gadget to turn ZenFone Max into an instant power bank for juicing up on the go.”
The device promises 37.6 hours of talktime on 3G, 32.5 hours of Wi-Fi web browsing and 22.6 hours of video playback.
The Asus ZenFone Max has 13 MP rear camera and a 5 megapixel front shutter with f/2.0-aperture lens.
ZenFone Max is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor featuring LTE Category 4 for download speeds up to 150Mbps.
