New Delhi: Chinese multinational computer technology company Lenovo might surprise tech-savvys with a new smartphone at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The biggest tradeshow focused on mobiles, which kicks off in just over a week`s time may see a new smartphone by Lenovo and it might be the Lemon 3 Plus, the successor for Lemon 3.


The Lenovo India Twitter handle reads: "A gorgeous new device has been engineered from scratch to deliver the #Knockout punch.


#KnockOut Coming Soon MWC 2016."The device is expected to sport a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. 


Some other features include powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB RAM.


Running Android 5.1 Lollipop, the device includes an internal storage of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.It comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash along with a 5MP front facing camera. 


Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 and GPS. Headquartered in Beijing, China, and North Carolina in United States, Lenovo designs, develops, manufactures and sells personal computers, tablet computers, smartphones, workstations, servers, electronic storage devices, IT management software and smart televisions. 


In 2014, Lenovo was the world`s largest personal computer vendor by unit sales.
