What will you generally expect a food and beverage company to launch? Probably another refreshing beverage or a zingy food item, right? But what if you suddenly come to know that it is actually a mobile phone!


Yes, you heard it right, PepsiCo Inc is working with a licensing partner to market a line of mobile phones and accessories in China in the next few months.


As per reports in the media, the phone named Pepsi P1 will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, fingerprint scanner,  1.7GHz MediaTek processor coupled with 2GB RAM.


The smartphone will also house a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 16GB of internal storage and 3,000 mAh battery.


Reports also say that the new smartphone from Pepsi will be priced at around $200.
