New Delhi: Following the huge success of OnePlus One and OnePlus 2, the Chinesse smartphone maker on Thursday launched its third handset, the OnePlus X, in the Indian market at a tempting price of Rs 16,999.


The OnePlus X comes in two variants – Onyx, priced at Rs 16,999 and the limited edition Ceramic variant priced at Rs 22,999.


The OnePlus X runs on OxygenOS based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and features a 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) Amoled display, and is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC coupled with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM.


It comes with 13MP rear camera with flash and a f/2.2 aperture while the front-facing camera is 8MP with a f/2.4 aperture.


It comes with inbuilt 16 GB memory which is expandable up to 128GB and is powered by 2,525 mAh battery.


The devices will be available on Amazon.In through an invite-only model from November.
"OnePlus X is a design-centric device, chic and powerful enough to fit any lifestyle. The Onyx also marks our entry into the sub-Rs 20,000 range and will help us expand our base further in the country," OnePlus General Manager India Vikas Agarwal said.
