Both are Chinese handset makers but it was Xiaomi that make its entrance into the Indian smartphone market with Redmi 1 and bang! It was success overnight.

Since than, many more Chinese mobile companies have made it into the market but not many created a buzz as LeEco with its Le 1s 'superphone'.


In the current market, Redmi Note 3, the latest smartphone form Xiaomi, stands head-to-head with Le 1s.


 


With their high-end features, especially their tempting prices, it is a tough call for buyers.


We provide here a simple comparison of their features and specifications. However, we leave it to the buyers to decide their own choice of device between the Xiaomi Remdi Note 3 and LeEco Le 1s.


DISPLAY: Both the smartphones come with a 5.5-inch Full HD, IPS LCD display display technology with a resolution of 1920X1080 Pixels that results to 403 ppi pixel density. However, Redmi Note 3 misses out on Corning Gorilla Glass which is available iwth Le 1s.


BODY AND WEIGHT: Redmi Note 3 comes with a body dimension of 150 x 76 x 8.7 mm and weights just 164 gm where as Le 1s comes with 151.10x74.20x7.50 mm weighing 169 gm. Really hard to say the difference here.


 


PROCESSOR/OPERATING SYSTEM: Redmi Note 3 features Qualcomm's Snapdragon 650 chipset, which is the first in the world, along with Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 & Dual-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A72. On the other hand, the Le 1s comes with a 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio X10 64-bit octa-core processor.


As for the operating system, the Remdi Note comes with an Android Lollipop 5.1 based MIUI 7 while the Le 1s comes with an Android 5.1.1 Lollipop wrapped under the EUI skin.


CAMERA: Note 3 comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0, 5-element lens, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash and a front-facing 5-megapixel camera. On the other hand, the Le 1s comes with a 13-megapixel f/2.0 rear camera with PDAF and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with up to 85 degree wide angle lens.


 


MEMORY: Redmi Note 3 comes in two variants – 16GB internal storage with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage with 3GB RAM; both the memories are expandable. On the other hand, the Le 1s comes with 32GB internal storage capacity with 3GB of RAM. However, the memory is not expandable.


SIM SUPPORT: Both the smartphones support 4G LTE on both SIM slots.


BATTERY: Externally, Redmi Note 3 sounds stronger with 4050 mAh batttery while the Le 1s comes with a 3000 mAh battery. However, as per various reviews, Redmi Note 3 appears to have given over a day's life on heavy usage while Le 1s manages to scrap through a day on heavy usage.


PRICE: The 16GB/2GB variant of Redmi Note has been priced at Rs 9,999 which the 32GB/3GB variant has been priced at Rs 11,999. On the other hand, the Le 1s has been priced at Rs 10,999.


COLOUR: Redmi Note 3 comes in three colours of Gold, Silver and Grey while Le 1s comes in Gold and Silver colours.
