New Delhi: Petrol price in Delhi are down by just about 4 paisa a litre, and diesel prices cut  3 paisa per litre. The change was effective from the midnight of January 31 and morning of February 1.


The price of 14.2 kg subsidized LPG gas has also lowered by Rs 11 paisa, while the non-subsidized cylinder has become cheaper by Rs 82. 50 paisa.

The Air Turbine Fuel price have also softened by Rs 4765.5 per kilolitre.

The government, on Sunday, had hiked the excise duty on petrol by Re 1 per litre and Rs 1.50 on diesel, the third increase this month, to mop up over Rs 3,200 crore in additional revenue, netting in all Rs 17,000 crore in three months. 


The non- branded petrol in Delhi now costs Rs 59.95 per litre and non-branded diesel in Delhi will cost Rs 44.68 per litre.


The 14.2 kh non-subsidized LPG cylinder in Delhi will now cost Rs 575 and, and the subsidized cylinder will cost 419.22.
