New Delhi: Heating up the airfare war, domestic budget cariers Jet Airways has announced special fares in Economy class on select flights within India.

The lowest fare for one way in economy starts at Rs 1,133.

As per the scheme, tickets must be purchased on or before October 30, 2015. And travel must commence and the entire journey must be completed between January 19, 2016 and April 15, 2016.

Such tickets would be valid for travel on direct flights only while limited seats available on a first come, first serve basis.

Owing to bumper demand during the festive season, domestic airlines such as AirAsia , SpiceJet and Air India have come up with several discount offers to woo customers.

Recently, no-frills airline SpiceJet put on sale over three lakh seats across its network with base fares starting as low as Rs 749 (excluding taxes)for domestic flights while Rs 3,999 for the international travel under a limited period bookings scheme.
