New Delhi, Dec 07: Former Chattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi was today barred from attending the Congress Working Committee convened to discuss the party's rout in the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chattisgarh. This followed his suspension last night from the party in the wake of the cash-for-MLA sting operation carried out by the BJP in which Jogi allegedly offered bribes to effect defections from the BJP Legislature Party.
However, Jogi, who arrived in the capital this morning, said that he did not attend the CWC in view of the "changed situation". Bureau Report
