Snapdeal CPO Anand Chandrasekaran quits
Anand Chandrasekaran, the chief product officer of ecommerce site Snapdeal, has quit to start his own venture, the company said.

New Delhi: Anand Chandrasekaran, the chief product officer of ecommerce site Snapdeal, has quit to start his own venture, the company said.
Chandrasekaran, who was brought on board in June last year, quit the company to start his own entrepreneurial venture, Snapdeal said.
"Anand has done some stellar work on the product side at Snapdeal. His insights and attention to detail have helped us traverse quickly towards launching and improving products at Snapdeal," a Snapdeal spokesperson said.
He was brought on board to revamp the company's platform.
Prior to joining Snapdeal, Chandrasekaran worked with Bharti Airtel holding the same designation.
Chandrasekaran co-founded Aeroprise, a personalised mobile applications software company, which was acquired by BMC Software Inc. In 2011.
Snapdeal co-founder Rohit Bansal tweeted: "@anandc proud of the super work by you and the product team. Hard to believe that this was just 1 yr. Farewell, keep rocking!"
In response, Chandrasekaran tweeted: "@rohitkbansal thanks for the support. We did in 1 what would take 3 years anywhere. Incredible passion @snapdeal. Best still to come!"
