New Delhi: Online retail giant Amazon on Monday said that 200 million of their items were shipped for free to prime subscribers as part of the company's 2015 holiday season.

According to The Verge, more than three million people joined Amazon Prime in the third week of December alone.


The sales data revealed by the company said that Christmas eve became the biggest ever day for Prime Now deliveries.


Another significant sales analysis by the retail giant revealed that almost 70 percent of Amazon.com customers shopped on a mobile device during the holiday season.
