New Delhi: Even though Apple is currently holding its iPhone 7 release date cards close to its chest, but looking at the company's past smartphone launches, industry expects iPhone 7 and the bigger “Plus” variant  launch taking place in September 2016.


There are a numerous leaks on iPhone 7, if patched together, will create an interesting mix of features in the Apple's upcoming next. Following are the features highlighted by different leaks on iPhone 7:  


A recent leak from China’s Weibo shows the upcoming Apple iPhone 7 in Pink Gold color. GSM Arena, citing rumors, indicated that Apple might ditch the 16GB base model for a 32GB one. 


Going by the past rumors, Apple might remove the 3.5mm headphone jack on the iPhone 7,l which is expected to be completely waterproof.


The other rumored iPhone 7 features include a faster TSMC-built A10 chipset, OLED-based display panel and a touch-sensitive home button.


According to market research firm Trend Force, the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus will have 3GB of RAM while the 4.7-inch device will still with 2GB of RAM


Storage is one thing Apple will change in the upcoming iPhone 7. TrendForce believes that the 64GB option may be discontinued and replaced by the 128GB version. The research company says that Apple “is certain” to make a 256GB iPhone 7 this year. 


DigiTimes reported that the iPhone 7 is likely to have a touch-sensitive digital button instead of the traditional physical button separated from the display, making the front of the device completely flush.


Another rumor says that the entry-level iPhones will have 32GB of storage instead of 16GB.
