Apple`s March 21 event: CareKit launched to let people manage their health better

New Delhi: Apple announced the launch of CareKit, a new open source software platform that facilitates people to develop their own health care apps.

 The software will be available in April. CareKit is aimed at institutions that will help them individualize their treatments. eg. to track the effectiveness of the drugs or exercise regimen they're on.

CareKit is just another way that Apple is getting more involved in health care and medical research, after the company's addition of the Health app.
