Ranbaxy`s animal arm in tie-up with US firm
New Delhi, Sept 02: Ranbaxy Laboratories said on Monday its animal health division has entered into a marketing tie-up with US-based Alltech Biotechnology for YeaSacc1026 Bolus, an animal feed additive.

Both the companies have plans for introducing more products in a phased manner, a Ranbaxy statement said here.
Ranbaxy expects potential demand from products such as YeaSacc which will improve the productivity of Indian dairy animals.
"The product has a great fit for the Indian market. YeaSacc has demonstrated excellent results in numerous local and overseas trials and the Indian market with its high roughage inclusion in the diet is ideally suited to benefit from the product," Chris King, general manager, Alltech India, was quoted as saying.
Kentucky-based Alltech is a global leader in animal feed additive with an annual turnover of $200 million and presence in 74 countries.
