Microsoft offers rebates up to Rs 19,000 for buying Windows 10 computer

The tech major Microsoft is going all out to boost sales of Windows 10, and is offering rebates up to Rs 19,000 in a buy-back scheme

New Delhi: Microsoft is luring customers to buy Windows 10 installed computers in a promotion called Easy Trade Up.

The scheme is designed to get people opt for a new Windows 10 machines. All one has to do is to buy a computer with Windows 10 from a Microsoft Store for over $599 Rs 38, 812 until October 20.

According to reports, the buyer will get a rebate of $200 or Rs 12, 958 for a Windows computer, and $300 or 19, 439 for a MacBook.

The company will give the rebate after one sends in his or her old laptop to Microsoft and meets certain conditions. The trade-in computer should be under six years old, in working order, and with a minimum display size of 11.6 inches.

The offer is running in the US, UK, Canada, India, Brazil, France, Germany, and Taiwan.
