Union Budget 2016: Finance Minister may give LTCG tax concession for under construction property

New Delhi: The Finance Ministry may bring smile to home buyers in the country in the upcoming Union Budget to be presented on February 29.
As per reports, the Ministry of Urban Development has recommended to the finance ministry to give Long and short-term capital gains (LTCG) tax concession for under construction property.
If the finance ministry accepts the recommendations, it will be a huge relief to may bring cheers to lakhs of home buyers in the country who are saddled with the double burden of house rent and high EMIs on home loans.
