Raipur-Kolkata Indigo flight makes emergency landing after bird hit, all safe

An Indigo Airlines flight made a precautionary landing in Raipur after being hit by a bird on Wednesday.

Raipur: An Indigo Airlines flight made an emergency landing in Raipur after being hit by a bird on Wednesday.

The flight was headed to Kolkata from Raipur, according to ANI.  

However, all passengers are reported to be safe.

Earlier this month, a Hyderabad-bound Indigo flight no. 6E827 was forced to make a “precautionary landing” at the Swami Vivekananda airport at Raipur due to a bird hit.

All passengers were sent to Hyderabad by a different flight later in the day, said reports.
