New Delhi: On a visit to India, Microsoft`s India-born CEO Satya Nadella has unveiled various porgrams and talked on number of issues since his arrival.

In an exclusive interview with CNBC-TV18, Nadella said that the era of cloud will further increase growth opportunities in different sectors in India.


He said in today's world, data is the new currency and relevant in industry, education and public sector

On issue of Donald Trump's immigration policies, Nadella said that the US stands for diversity as it's the 'land of immigrants.'


He said America's enlightened immigration policy helped him to reach where he is today. He told CNBC-TV18, On Donald Trump’s immigration policies, Nadella said America was a “land of immigrants” and stands for inclusion and diversity. “I benefited from USA’s enlightened immigration policy.” 


Nadella on Wednesday launched "Project Sangam" to help the government not only train but also help people get jobs via professional networking website LinkedIn that was acquired by the company last year.


Nadella on Wednesday also announced the integration of Skype and Aadhaar to launch the `Skype Lite` for low speed mobile internet connections, which will be supported by Aadhaar and will enable technology that can empower people and organisations.At a keynote address on day two of Future Decoded event, Nadella said that one can chat with `Aadhaar Verified` users on both the regular Skype app and the new Skype Lite app while interacting for job interviews, government services and other services.
