New Delhi: Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag is ruling Twitter like no other Indian cricketer.

Sehwag, who retired from international cricket last year, has been entertaining the fans on the social micro-blogging site with his unique sense of humour.


The Delhi batsman has made it a habit of wishing celebrities on their birthdays in his trademark style.

Recently, while talk about the power of digital platform, Indian cricket coach Anil Kumble said that there was nobody like Sehwag when it came to making the best use of 140 characters.


On Day 4 of the third Test match between India and New Zealand, another Indian legend VVS Laxman too lavished praised on Sehwag's brilliant form on Twitter.

"Virender Sehwag is out of control on Twitter these days. After reading his tweets, not just me, but even my family members are left in splits," Laxman said.


Laxman praised two tweets in particular, one where Sehwag wished English pacer James Anderson on his birthday and another one on Barack Obama.


Talking about his tweets, Sehwag said he likes to wish birthday in unique manner rather than the cliche way.
