He used his slower balls, outswingers to a good effect and sometimes even opened bowling for India. Although bowling was his greatest asset but he was also used a handfull batsman lower down the order.


On one of the ocassion, Prabhakar used his inswinger to stun Graham Gooch. He bowled it at usual pace, Gooch looked to pad it away but the ball nipped back in sharply to shatter the stumps.
